Brazil born soprano Adriane Queiroz received her musical education at the conservatory and the university of Para in Brazil,at the university of Missoury,and the Vienna Conservatory and Musik Universitat.
She made her Viennese debut as Antonia (der Mann von la Mancha),at the Volksoper Vienna,where later Gianetta(lelisir damore )and 1.Dame (Magic flute)followed as well.
Since 2002/2003 she has been a member of Berlin State Opera,where she successfully sings Michaela (Carmen), Marzelline(Fidelio), Musetta (La Boheme), Zerlina (Don Giovanni), Despina(Cosi fan tutte), Susanna (Le Nozze di Figaro), Pamina (Die Zauberfloete), Mary(Der Ferne klang), as well as in Schostakowitsch (Die Nase) and Amore /Giunone ( Il ritorno d Ulisse in Patria), Elvira (Italiana in Algeri) and Liu (Turandot)among many others.
Besides her extensive commitment to Berlin, she made her debut at the Salzburgfestival in Die Aegyptische Helena (under Fabio Luisi). A recording is available of a concert performance of Dalberts (Tiefland) under Bertrand de Billy, with Johan Botha and Falk Struckmann at Musikverein Vienna, where Adriane Queiroz had a great success as Nuri.
She appeared as Michaela(Carmen) in Para (Brazil) as 5 Magd(Elektra) and as Susanna (Le Nozze di Figaro) under Simone Young at Hamburg State Opera. Furthermore she sang Zerlina in a new production of Don Giovanni at Theater an der Wien, in 2006(director:Keith Warner, conductor:Bertrand de Billy), and Asteria in Tamerlano, where she sang in Vienna (under Huw James) and last year as Asteria appeared at the Bavarian State Opera in Munich, as well as to Teatro da Paz, in Brazil, where she mades her debut as Mimi (La Boheme). In 2009,in celebration of the Heitor Villa Lobos 50th death anniversary, she sang the title role of the opera Yerma,performed in Paris, Berlin and the Teatro Sao Carlos, in Lisboa.
Adriane Queiroz is also a great concert and recital singer.She made her diplom of Lied and Oratorium (Wiener Universitat)with Prof. Walter Moore. She has been a guest of the Vienna Festwochen, the Kammermusikfestival Stift Rein, of the Scheonenberg Center Vienna and of many important concert hallsin Germany and Holand. She sang with the Radio Symphony Orchestra Vienna (Peer Gynt,Grieg,with Kristian Jaervi), Portos Philamornic Orchestra (Cristoph Koenig), as well in la Crosse (Wisconsin, USA-Enaldo Oliveira) where she sang the fourth Mahlers Symphony. She works as a Lied singer with many pianists, like Semion Skigin, where she sang last year in Moscow and St.Petersburg in the Summers Night Festival.Furthemore she performed chamber music with the Staatskapelle Berlin, where she sings french and german composers, among others, Lekeu, Ravel and Schoenberg.
She also recorded last year with the kammerenseble der Deutschen Oper Berlin, the CD Klang der Welt, where she sang several modern pieces of classical brasilian composers like Camargo Guarnieri(sopran and flute),or Francisco Mignone(sopran and fagot).
Under the baton of Pierre Boulez she sang in Mahlers 8 Symphony at the Musikverein Wien and the Philarmonie Berlin, also recorded with the Deustsche Gramophone.
In season 2009/2010 Adriane Queiroz made a very successful debut as Donna Anna »Don Giovanni« at Nationaltheater Weimar.
In Summer 2009 she made a concert tournee with american-brasilian programm with pianist Semion Skigin in Moscow and St. Petersburg.
In January 2010 she sang a.o. Rosalinde, Hanna Glawari und Margueritte (FAUST) with Philharmonie Porto under Christoph Koenig and with Brandenburger Sinfonikern at Konzerthaus Berlin „Johannespassion“ under Martin Stephan in Sylt.
In October 2010 she made her very succeseful house debut as Rosalinde at the Staatsoper Stuttgart and in January 2011 in the same rolle at the Staatsoper Dresden.
2012 Adriane Queiroz made her debut as Violetta Valery in the new production of LA TRAVIATA at Teatro Municipal Sao Paulo, directed by Daniele Abbado, conducted by Maestro Abel Rocha. She sang „Opera Italiana – Verdi, Puccini, Rossini“ by Classic Open Air in Berlin, she made her debut in Baden-Baden with Beethoven 9. Sinfonie, as well as at the Semperoper Dresden with Rosalinde.
2013 Adriane Queiroz sang „Der Bettelstudent“ at the Austrian Operettenfestival in Mörbisch, where also a CD recording was made.
With the conductor John Neschling she sang Donna Elvira in a new production of DON GIOVANNI and Alice Ford in a new production of FALSTAFF in Sao Paolo.
2014 was followed by debuts as Margherita in MEFISTOFELE am Theatro da Paz, in Belem do Pará, „Vier letzte Lieder“ and „Capriccio“ with Minas-Gerais-Philharmonic, conducted by Fabio Mechetti.
In the season 2014/15 she performed Pamina in DIE ZAUBERFLÖTE and Berta in IL BARBIERE DI SIVIGLIA at Staatsoper Berlin. In 2015/16 she will perform a.o. Manon Lescaut at Teatro Municipal di Sao Paolo.
