Émilie Cozette (born 1981) is a French ballet dancer. She joined the Paris Opera Ballet in 1998, becoming a star (étoile) in 2007.

On May 5th 2007, she is made an « Étoile » following a performance of Cinderella (Rudolf Nureyev)

She has since added to her repertoire: The Four Temperaments, Terpsichore in Apollon (George Balanchine), Serait-ce la Mort ? (Maurice Béjart), Signs (Carolyn Carlson), Un Jour ou Deux (Merce Cunningham), Woundwork 1 (William Forsythe), the title role in Paquita (Pierre Lacotte after Joseph Mazilier and Marius Petipa), Genus (Wayne McGregor), the Nymph in Afternoon of a Faun (Vaslav Nijinsky), Clémence and the title role in Raymonda, Nikiya in La Bayadère (Rudolf Nureyev), Répliques(Nicolas Paul), the Young Girl in Le Loup (Roland Petit), Médée in Le Songe de Médée and Le Parc(Angelin Preljocaj), In G MajorIn The Night (Jerome Robbins).

CAREER HISTORY

1993 
She enters the Ballet School.  

1998 
At the age of 17, she joins the Corps de ballet. She wins (the junior) First Prize at the Paris International Choreography Competition. 

2000 
She becomes a “Coryphée”. She performs the role of Clémence in Raymonda (Rudolf Nureyev) as well as The Vertiginous Thrill of Exactitude (William Forsythe). 

2001
Prix du Cercle Carpeaux. Cast in the productions of Rudolf Nureyev, she is one of the three Shades in La Bayadère, one of the two Friends and the Bridesmaid in Don Quichotte, and one of the four Big Swans in Swan Lake.

2002 
She is made a “Sujet”. Prix AROP de la Danse. She dances Rubies / Jewels (George Balanchine), Afternoon of a Faun (Jerome Robbins). 

2005 
She becomes a “Première danseuse”. She dances the roles of Calliope in Apollo (George Balanchine), the Star in La Petite danseuse de Degas (Patrice Bart), Myrtha in Giselle (after Jean Coralli and Jules Perrot), Pas./Parts(William Forsythe), Suite en Blanc, the Moon in Les Mirages (Serge Lifar), AndréAuria (Edouard Lock), the Sixth Fairy, the Lilac Fairy and the Precious Stones pas de cinq in Sleeping Beauty, one of the two Sisters in Cinderella, Rosaline in Romeo and Juliet, Odette/Odile in Swan Lake, Gamzatti in La Bayadère, the Queen of the Dryads in Don Quichotte (Rudolf Nureyev), Glass Pieces (Jerome Robbins).
