An evening of transcendent depth and drama awaits.Chinese prizewinner Yuxin Pu brings her commanding technique and poetic sensibility to an evocative solo recital. She opens with Luciano Berio’s Six Encores, a collection of exquisitely crafted miniatures that evoke the fluid motion of water and the weightlessness of air. Next comes Zoltán Kocsis’s innovative reimagining of Wagner’s Tristan und Isolde Prelude, where familiar harmonies are transformed into fresh textures and sweeping gestures. The program culminates in Frédéric Chopin’s 24 Preludes, a monumental traversal of all major and minor keys, each piece revealing profound psychological depth and dramatic contrast. In a hushed venue suffused with attentive silence and warm resonance, every nuanced phrase and thunderous chord will unfold with crystalline clarity, inviting listeners into a world of sublime emotional intensity.
