Across an evocative programme spanning over 450 years, the performer interweaves 16th-century lute fantasias with contemporary guitar suites, pairing linked works to reveal striking structural, stylistic and expressive parallels. Renaissance ornamentation and modal harmonies prefigure modern tonal worlds, while contemporary compositional turns reanimate historic melodies with fresh clarity. Delicate phrasing, dynamic contrasts and a warm, resonant tone guide the listener through an immersive dialogue between past and present, honouring tradition while celebrating artistic evolution.
