Overview
Discover rhythm and melody with our family-friendly morning workshops, where participants of all ages sing, explore percussion and craft brand-new music together. Guided by professional musicians, each themed session invites children and their carers to collaborate, improvise and perform in an inspiring group setting.Join experienced musicians and music leaders for a morning of collaborative creativity in our family-focused workshops. Through voice exercises, percussion explorations and ensemble improvisations, participants will sing, experiment with drums, shakers and other simple instruments, and work together to compose and perform original music. Each session revolves around a unique theme—whether rhythmic storytelling, melodic adventure or percussive landscapes—encouraging children and their parents or carers to dive in, play off one another and share the joy of live music-making. Tickets are priced at £10 for children and £12 for adults. Friends of Wigmore Hall enjoy priority booking from Wednesday 15 April at 10:00am, with general sale opening on Tuesday 28 April at 10:00am.
