About
In August 1977, Wayne Chouinard was hired by the Metropolitan Opera as assistant resident L. D. Gil Wexler.
Twenty-three seasons later, the Chouinard is still there and transferred to the role of the lighting designer himself, although the name could be somewhat wrong; in fact, he developed only one production from scratch (successful Fedora, whose sets were borrowed from Barcelona).
