Waldensian Evangelical Church

Very close to the central Piazza Venezia in Rome, situated inside a bigger building, we discover this little architectural jewel. The Waldensian Auditorium enjoys a wonderful acoustics that intensifies the detail and elegance of instruments and classical voices. The rectangular map, the ancient paneled ceiling and polychrome glass walls, give the ambiance an atmosphere similar to a Northern Europe concert hall.

This project is due to the architect Benedetto Adinolfi, and the construction took place in 1883. Into the Church there is the precious pipe organ Carlo Vegezzi-Bossi opus 698, built in 1885 and recently refurbished. The set of all these elements makes the Waldensian Evangelical Church a perfect place to get lost in the magic of Italian music in the center of Rome.
