Prudential Center is a multipurpose indoor arena in the central business district of Newark, New Jersey, United States. Opened in 2007, it is the home of the New Jersey Devils of the National Hockey League (NHL) and the Seton Hall Pirates men's basketball team. By 2023, the arena was among the top five concert venues worldwide by earnings.
The venue has hosted the MTV Video Music Awards a number of times in recent years. It has additionally hosted arena tours and performances for acts like Ice Spice, Bad Bunny, Billie Eilish, Marc Anthony, My Chemical Romance, Kevin Hart, Chris Rock, Elton John, Justin Bieber, Dua Lipa, Sebastian Maniscalco, Daddy Yankee, and Tool. In 2017, Billboard named the Pru Center "the East Coast home of K-Pop." The venue has hosted K-pop acts like BTS, EXO, BigBang, and Blackpink as well as "K-Con" genre conventions.
