Culture Hall Hammerschmiede

With its special ambience, the hammer mill offers space for a large number of events of all kinds. The adjacent area around the unique natural monument Brenzursprung has been redesigned. An atrium, a pavilion, a Kneipp facility and a children's playground were created. The Heidenheim Opera Festival organizes under the title "OH! at the source" every year the "Blue Evening" in the Hammerschmiede. In this unique format, visitors are spoiled with opera excerpts, the finest food and singers up close - moderated by festival director Marcus Bosch.

In 1860/61, the building, which had been expanded several times, was replaced by the hammer mill building that still exists today. In 2008, the building was extensively renovated as part of the redevelopment of the town center, creating a unique event location.
