Overview
Santiago, the capital of Chile, is one of the most developed cities in South America, where you can appreciate a modern urban environment with classical and modern architecture. It's a vibrant city full of artistic culture, modern restaurants, and lively nightlife. Santiago is surrounded by mountains, the powerful Andes to the east and the smallest coastal chain to the west.The tour starts on the main avenue of the city. You will go down to the cobbled neighborhood of Lastarría, famous for its green areas and beautiful houses of the 19th century, now restored and used mainly as coffee shops, restaurants, bookstores, and museums. The tour continues to Santa Lucia Hill, where you will have time to walk and take photos, while the guide explains some of the most important episodes in the history of Santiago.Admire some emblematic places of the city such as the Plaza de Armas, the Cathedral and the old national congress. Then, you will arrive at the imposing government house called La Moneda and next to the Plaza de la Constitución. Once in the vehicle, the tour will continue with a passage through the Central Market, one of the most characteristic gastronomic points of Santiago, to continue to the upper sector of the city.On the way, you will stop at a lapis lazuli store where you have the opportunity to admire beautiful jewelry and unique crafts.
