Overview
Your tour starts by picking you up from your hotel by an English-speaking driver in a deluxe air-conditioned vehicle. The first stop will be the Colosseum, the world's largest amphitheatre, and with your “skip the line” ticket you'll access directly the metal detector security section. Once inside, the tour guide will explain how the gladiators entertained the crowds and will show you the complex engineering applied by the Romans to build such an imposing structure. The guide will then take you to the second level of the Colosseum where you'll enjoy the beautiful view of the arena and all of the seating areas of the different social classes. After the Colosseum, you'll proceed into the archaeological site of the Roman Forum which represented the commercial, legal and administrative center of Ancient Rome. All of this, while walking by the ruins of ancient temples and Roman mausoleums.
