Overview
The tour will take you to the hot springs of Deildartunguhver, which have the highest flow in Europe (180 liters/second at 97°C!), the water of which is used to heat the towns of Borgarnes and Akranes.You will also be driven to the wonderful Hraunfoss cascading falls, fed from beneath an ancient lava flow. At Husafell you will make a lunch stop before continuing on to the glacier. The ice tunnels are located at 1250 meters above sea level and the Superjeep takes you right to the Ice cave, with man-made ice tunnels that take you in to to the glacier, surrounded by crystal clear blue ice, it makes you feel like you are in another world.Borgafjord & ice cave tour highlights:
