Overview
No trip to New Zealand is complete without joining the Milford sound experience. There are two options available for you, with coach and cruise (from Te Anau and Queenstown) or with coach, cruise, and flight (from Queenstown).For both options, your day will begin the same. Depart Queenstown/Te Anau (depending on the option you chose) to go to Milford Sound. This 16 seat, glass roof Mercedes van is built with extended legroom, leather interior, panoramic windows for the best views, and USB charging ports on board to ensure your comfort.Once you arrive, enjoy a two-hour small boat nature cruise on the fjord to see waterfalls, fur seals, penguins, and occasionally dolphins. Enjoy fun and informative commentary from your nature guide, and plenty of off-the-beaten-track visits away from the crowds.Now, this is where the two option differs. For the 'coach and cruise' tour, you will hop on back to the van for you to be dropped off back to Queenstown/Te Anau (depending on your option). However, if you have selected the Milford Sound experience with coach, cruise, and flight, you will finish your day with an unforgettable scenic flight back to Queenstown. It takes about 40 mins but it will be truly unforgettable and jaw-dropping. Finally, once you arrive in Queenstown, you will be dropped off back at your hotel.
