Overview
This trip takes you to some of northern Cyprus's most intriguing spots – the old town of Famagusta and the ‘ghost town' of Varosha. Afterwards, you'll have time to chill out on Constantia Beach.From its Venetian city walls to its collection of church ruins, Famagusta is a little gem. As your guide shows you sights such as the Gothic cathedral-turned mosque, it'll almost feel like scenes after a medieval battle. Strolling around the down-at-heel old town is both fascinating and eerie.We'll then head to Constantia Beach, where you can take a dip overlooking Varosha, a once popular beach resort graced by film stars such as Elizabeth Taylor and Brigitte Bardot.
