Overview
During the private tour, you will discover the UNESCO World Heritage Site Château de Versailles, home of three generations of French kings and queens from 1682 to the French Revolution. Be prepared to be amazed by the decadent furnishings, the sparkling hall of mirrors, the symmetry, and the preciseness of the colorful garden!In the morning, you will have about 1.15 hour at your disposal to visit the States Apartments, the Hall of Mirrors and the Queen & King bedrooms with an audioguide. Then your guide will lead you to the sublime gardens of Versailles designed by André Le Nôtre, a project that will span forty years. Your guide will give you some recommendations for lunch inside the park. In the afternoon, you'll visit the Grand Trianon, richly furnished and decorated with Napoleon furniture from the 18th century. Take a stroll in the Park to get in the newly renovated “Domaine de Marie Antoinette” with the Small Trianon and the Hamlet Village where her majesty could enjoy a rustic and country life far from the formalism of the court.You will be back at your hotel around 5.00 pm.
