Overview
If you're booked on a late-night flight back home, then this is a great way to enjoy your last hours in Turkey. Highlights include a scenic Dalyan riverboat cruise, Lycian rock tombs and a tour around the ancient city of Kaunos. There's also free time on Iztuzu Beach, famed for its turtle sanctuary. To top it off, you'll have a chance to freshen up before your flight in a local hotel, too.Sail down the River Dalyan on an eco-friendly boat – which doesn't harm marine life – have fun caking on the anti-ageing mud at the mud baths and have a dip in the warm sulphur pool. After lunch at a riverside restaurant, jump back on your river boat to see the Lycian Rock Tombs dating to 400BC as we head to the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Kaunos. Here, you'll tour around the remains to see the well-preserved theatre, Roman baths and much more. It's off to Iztuzu Beach next. You'll have free time for swimming or sunbathing on this long, sandy strand before we head back to a nearby hotel for a chance to freshen up. You won't go hungry either, with a freshly prepared buffet dinner to tuck into. And what's more, you'll get to keep your private hotel room right up until the transfer to the airport.
