Overview
Get ready for a kayaking adventure on the peaceful Sedili Kechil river. You'll be picked up from your hotel lobby and taken to a typical fishing village in the Sedili area where a boat will take you and the kayaks further upstream of the river.Discover a botanist heaven as you glide along a mangrove forest highly adapted to the saltwater and tidal conditions, and slowly into a predominantly Nipah Palm forest. Have fun trying to spot sea eagles, kites, kingfishers, herons, mudskippers and fiddler crabs during the boat trip.The adventure begins in the upper reaches of the Sedili river. Leisurely paddle along a forest of Putat trees and pandanus plants while watching wild ducks, herons, other waterbirds and, if you are lucky, even otters. The water is clear enough that even tropical fish living in the river can be spotted.After about 90 minutes of paddling, take the boat again to Kuala Sedili Kechil and head to the quaint fishing town of Sedili Besar to enjoy some well-deserved lunch (not included) and friendly conversations together before the journey back to your hotel.
