Overview
This tour will take you to explore Los Humedales, a complex of trails and lava formations in Isabela Island. You will visit El Cerro Orchilla, from where you will observe the bay and the town of Puerto Villamil, Sierra Negra volcano, Cerro Azul volcano, islets, and rocks.You will also go to The Estero, a 227m path bordered by lava rock 1.5 meters wide. On this site, you can see the four mangrove species present in the Galapagos. The trip continues to La Poza Escondida, a path of stone and wood where the main attraction is the mangrove forest and at the end of this you will find a pool. The next stop is Poza Redonda, a path of 50 meters in length.The itinerary continues to Mirador de Los Tunos and Pozas Verdes, viewpoints that allow access to the observation of birds and plants. Finally, you will arrive at La Playita, a path that leads to a small beach that is part of the large beach present in Villamil. In the cemetery you can see several ancient tombs; this place represents a historical account of Isabela and its first inhabitants.
