Overview
Even though wildlife tends to rest in the midday heat, the advantage of an afternoon safari is that our guides will have information about earlier sightings and where they took place, so we can try to find the most exciting wildlife for you to experience first-hand. Watering holes are also a popular spot during this time as many animals will be looking to cool down and nothing is more pleasing than watching elephants play around in a river. The later the day gets and the closer it gets for a closing time in the Park, the better the chances of sightings become, as the animals become more active as the heat dissipates. Mineral waters are included on all safaris.
