Overview
Leave the hussle and bustle of Dublin City behind and head into the countryside to discover some of the most iconic attractions that Ireland has to offer. You'll hop in your rental car and take the day at your own pace as you explore three stunning castles, admire magnificent views and tuck into a delicious meal that's been organised for you! You'll pick up your rental car and take the North Coast route out of the city into the wild Irish countryside. At the Howth summit, you'll be able to admire the beautiful views as you set off on a cliff walk before exploring the 13th century, Howth Castle and Abbey. Set on the Howth headland and boasting spectacular sea views, Howth Castle is a must-see for any visitor to Dublin! Then, it's time to tuck into a tasty, two-course lunch in McGoverns Restaurant and regain some energy before you head off to Malahide Castle and Park for a tour. This castle is nestled in extensive parkland and has a variety of small artisanal shops and restaurants in its courtyard. Then as you head back to Dublin, you'll swing by the beautifully restored, Swords Castle, which has been heavily featured in the BBC series, the Tudors. You'll feel like you've stepped right onto the big screen!
