Overview
Start with a pick-up from your hotel, begin your tour at the National Museum that tries to show off 5000 years of Delhi’s history. There you'll see Mughal miniature paintings, old coins, musical instruments, priceless jewellery, Persian manuscripts, ancient armoury and even relics from the Indus Valley and Harappan civilisations. Next, you will visit the Nehru Memorial Museum and Library (NMML) that consists of the museum itself, the library and Nehru Planetarium. It’s a museum to commemorate Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru, the first Prime Minister of independent India. Last but finally not least, learn about the history of railways in India at National Rail Museum. It’s full of rail models, old locomotives, old documents, photographs, coat of arms and lots of other interesting exhibits for you to see before you finish the tour and get dropped off to your hotel.
