Overview
Depart Dakar at 8.00am to go to the pier for a ferry ride to Gorée Island. After 20 minutes, you will arrive there and start by visiting the Fort d'Estrée which now houses the Historical Museum, then visit the House of Slaves, before walking to the cliff of the island where you can see the monument of the Gorée Almadies Memorial. Continue your walk along the charming alleys of the island, lined with houses dating back to the colonial era before your lunch. Finally, you will visit Pink Lake where you get to enjoy the scenery or even swim in the salty lake.
