Overview
Depart Dakar at 9.00am to go to Lac Rose where you will visit a Fulani village. There, you will meet the salt collectors and have the unforgettable experience of swimming in the salt lake. After that, you will have lunch by the lake before driving to the Lompoul desert. Once you get there, you will go through the dunes on a 4x4 to reach a camp where you will be welcomed by the wonderful sunset. Your evening continues with dinner under the stars and a stay overnight in Mauritanian tents at the Loumpoul Ecolodge. The next day, starting with breakfast, you can continue your morning with a camel ride or on foot on the dunes. Then, to refuel your energy, you will have lunch in Loumpoul to enjoy the peace and serenity of the place before returning to your hotels in Dakar.
