Overview
The DDR motorbike exhibition hosted by the DDR Museum offers a unique and comprehensive insight into the history of East German two-wheeler production during the Cold War.In the historic building at Rochstraße 14 between the train stations Hackescher Markt and Alexanderplatz, you will find more than 130 elaborately restored motorbikes, mopeds, scooters and trailers on over 800 sqm.The two-wheeler as well as many other thematic original objects take you on a journey through the technical and design history of a bygone state which begins with the predecessors from the 1930s and ends with the closure of the manufacturer MZ in 2008.Don’t miss out on this exhibition!
