The area is known for its typical early 20th-century houses, which feature a special system of 8 inner courtyards. We will then walk through the courtyards of Heckmann, the most characteristic courtyards in the city. We will see the Blindenwerkstatt Otto Weidt museum, the remnants of the first Jewish cemetery in Berlin, Tolerance street, the NewSynagogue, and many other places.
