Overview
Discover a time that changed history on this full-day private tour and learn the unique perspective of the grandson of Resistance fighters within the picturesque landscapes, beaches, Airborne museum, drop zone, and battlegrounds. Starting from Bayeux, you'll learn about the first days of combat in Arromanches, the Atlantic Wall in Longues Sur Mer, and the importance of Ste Mère Eglise for the battle of Normandy and Europe. On Omaha beach, you'll walk on holy grounds and hear about the details of the initial assault.Before you return you'll visit Pointe du Hoc with an explanation of the battle led by the 2nd Rangers and lastly visit the Normandy American cemetery and paying tribute by attending the Ceremony of the US flag.
