Overview
Your tour will begin at Puerto Pañuelo, which is a lake just outside of town that sits across from the famous Llao Llao Hotel. Here you will take a 30 minute boat ride across the Nahuel Huapi Lake to Puerto Anchorena. Your guided tour will begin in Anchorena with a lovely nature walk.If you like to explore or go off on your own you will have the opportunity to take make your own adventure and explore the trails on your own. There are several trails that are marked that make exploring safe and easy to do on your own such as National Nursery Trail or the "Antonio Pargade" Interpretation Trail. Each trail is unique and offers amazing sights such as Puerto Gross, Playa del Toro, the Balcony on Cerro Bella Vista, Old Settlement and cave paintings. This Island of Victoria and the Arrayanes Forest is full of beauty and natural wonders hidden around every corner. It is said that Walt Disney got his inspiration from the island to create one of Disney’s famous classic films, Bambi. Later on the tour you will be able to spot a quaint wooden cottage where you will have time to check out the art, crafts or grab a snack.After your stop at the delightful wooden cottage you will continue on the nature hike until reaching the visitors center. Once at the center you will have the option to talk to the park ranger, walk along the pebbled beaches or walk to the stunning Lagoon of Patagua.
