Full-day Gate of Heaven tour

Overview

Spend a full day to discover the eastern part of Bali, a less explored part with so many hidden oases, beautiful temples, majestic volcanoes, and stretches of quiet beaches. Upon arrival, a short walk through huts that lead you to a black sandy beach where you will discover the local people produce salt traditionally using primitive tools, you are welcomed to experience a centuries–old tradition of salt making for yourself. Next, visit the cool oasis of the Water Garden (Tirta Gangga) with its spring-fed pools, a former water palace of Karangasem kingdom built in the late 1940s. Onward and your lunch will be served at a local restaurant inside the water garden. The winding road will lead you to mount Lempuyang, where lies one of the oldest and sacred temples in Bali. After hundreds of stairs, you will reach what many people called as Gate of haven, a Balinese split gate with Mount Agung as the backdrop at the distance.In the afternoon, we will make a final stop for refreshment. a beautiful view of Mount Agung and the rice field below your seats bring the early twilight in the sky, beauty, and warmth, while enjoying it you will be served with tea or coffee and Balinese cake as a complement.
