Overview
Enjoy a short introduction to Denpasar, the capital of the island of Bali and get a quick overview of the area by visiting the Museum of Bali, and the famous Bajra Sandhi memorial. Join in on the market fever where Pasar Badung and Pasar Kumbasari both spread out over a four-story building, trading different wares from morning to evening. Visit the Bali Museum and take a transfer by a traditional horse cart known as Dokar (based on availability). Indulge in an old-fashioned way by discovering the growing city of Denpasar. Upon arrival at the museum, observe the traditional artifacts, collection of prehistoric pieces and valuable old paintings.Continue to the Bali Art Centre, also known as Taman Budaya, dedicated to the preservation of Balinese culture. To end this half-day trip, visit the Balinese People Memorial, better known as Bajra Sandhi, built to commemorate Balinese heroes who fought against colonial rule.
