Overview
Taste the best food that Athens has to offer on this complete food tour! From olives to mezze, to street food and desserts, you'll get a full immersion into Athenian cuisine with a local culinary travel professional, Greek wine guide and avid food traveler. First, you'll get to sample the best Greek street food and desserts (like Souvlaki, Gyro, Baklava, and more). Then, sit down for dinner at an iconic Athenian restaurant where you'll enjoy small plates. You adventure is not over yet. Eat your way through 4 of the city’s most foodie neighborhoods on foot, including St. Irene and Psyrri. Your tour includes:
- Taste of Greek olives and olive oil
- Souvlaki or gyro
- Peinirli (a traditional boat-shaped pizza topped with melting cheese and delicious cold cuts) baked on hot stone oven
- Sample of tapas style food
- Baklava, galaktoboureko (phyllo custard pie) or a unique-flavoured ice-cream
