Overview
Go on an interesting tour of discovery of Athens and learn all the myths and legends that characterize the region.You will leave with your guide by car and after a little more than an hour of driving you will reach the mountain of Penteli and the ancient marble quarries, from which all the marble was taken to build the Parthenon, the temples of Zeus, Hephaestus and Poseidon. There you will also find the cave of Penteli, which was a temple of the god Pan in antiquity, and enjoy a breathtaking view of Athens. You will reach the lake of Marathon and the battlefield, and you will have the opportunity to visit the temple of Artemis, and then enjoy lunch in a local restaurant. After the break, you will reach Cape Sounion and visit the temple of Poseidon, then take the coastal road to Athens, and make a short stop at Lake Vouliagmeni, one of the strangest and most beautiful natural phenomena in Greece.Once in Piraeus, admire the harbor and visit the area where the naval battle of Salamis took place.
