Overview
Early in the morning, after your pickup, you will catch the ferry in Piraeus port for Aegina island. After one hour, you will reach your destination. First stop will be the ancient settlement of Colona, where you will admire the Temple of Apollo and the many founding inside the archaeological museum.After that, you will head to the Temple of Afaea. The view is breathtaking, since you can see the whole Athens and Attica mountains from up there. Furthermore, you will visit the church of Saint Nektarios and the little house he used to live in, near the monastery. Prepare to swim in Clima beach and enjoy the crystal blue waters of Saronic gulf.Aegina is called the ''peanut island''. This particular kind of peanut is unique, since it is produced only on this island and famous worldwide. In the town of Aegina you will have the chance to try for free and buy as much as you want. After your lunch in the town of Aegina, you will have 30 minutes free time to explore the center and for shopping. Then you will catch the ferry back to Piraeus port.
