Guided tour of Delphi Oracle and 300 Spartans with King Leonidas

Overview

On your way to the delphi Oracle on a two hour drive, you'll pass the Battlefield of Plataea and Marathon, ancient cities such as Thebes and Thespies and the mountaineous ski resort village in Arachova. In Delphi you'll visit the archaeological site and museum, have lunch at a local restaurant in the village overlooking the Delphi valley and their ancient harbor. Afterwards heading higher up to Mount Parnassus about 1400 meters you'll pass through the mountain peaks. Here you'll find the cave Korikion Andron, the cave of God Pan and the first oracle in the area at least 4000 BC years old. Going down the other side of the mountain, you'll visit the ancient city of Lilaia, where the spring of the river Kifissos is located. There are also two ancient temples Apollo and Artemis with strange sign and symbols of the Knight Templar’s on their stones. Your final destination will be the battlefield of the 300 Spartans where King Leonidas led the ancients Greeks against the Persians. The place that became one of the most important battles in world history and where you can find the HOT GATES of the movie and: Leonidas and 300 Spartans monument, the description of the battle, battlefield area from the top of the mountain, the path that the traitor revealed to the Persians and surrounded the Spartans, Kolonos hill, and the rests of King Leonidas.
