Overview
Every decade, horticultural experts from around the world come together at Floriade in the Netherlands to present green solutions to make the world’s cities more enjoyable, beautiful, and sustainable. With food, live music, and art to see as well, it’s a great day out to delight the senses.Depart from Amsterdam Central Station and head to the Floriade Cable Car. Take the 5-minute cable car ride which will provide you with great views over the park and help you to orientate yourself for your visit.The seventh edition of the Floriade is located in Almere, in the very center of the country on land reclaimed from the sea. Learn secrets about the art of gardening and how essential horticulture is to sustainability.This year over 400 participants from around the world will show off their latest green innovations, solutions, and applications. There is no question that after your visit you’ll be inspired to enrich your own garden, balcony, or living room.

Meeting point:
Meet at the local partner's office in the Ij hall in the rear of Amsterdam Central Station, on the right-hand side as you face the water. The local partner's office is called Tours & Tickets (look for the red writing). The office is in the back concourse of the station, on the side closest to the water. Please check in at least 30 minutes prior to the beginning of the tour.
