Overview
Discover some of the best food and wine McLaren Vale has to offer, including a visit to the spectacular d’Arenberg Cube.Starting with a pick up at your hotel, head out through the scenic southern suburbs. Enjoy coastal views as you head to Stump Hill Cafe for morning tea. Then, you'll visit the highlight of this tour, the d’Arenberg Cube. Located amongst the vineyards, this 5-level “rubiks cube” has been designed to entice and excite the senses. Enjoy a formal wine tasting on Level 4, before heading down to Polly’s Restaurant for your 2-course lunch.Next on your list is Beresford Wines, where you can choose from one of three tastings. The first option is the premium wine tasting, where you'll get to choose from a selection of their wines from the estate and limited release range. The second option is the vale brewing tasting, which offers up to five craft beers from the vale range. Last but certainly not least, you can select the 23rd street distillery tasting that offers five spirits or three craft gins.Your final stop is the Wirra Wirra Vineyards, where you will start with short tour of the cellars and a structured tasting of their range of quality wines. Finally, finish the day with some free time in the main street of McLaren Vale. You can pop into the Fruchocs Shop for some sweet treats or explore the Fleurieu Arthouse housed on the historic Hardys Tintara site.Once the tour is over, you will be dropped off back at your hotel.
