Overview
Join this tour for an overview of the most visited sights in Abu Dhabi, capital of the UAE, built on a natural island. Your first stop is Sheikh Zayed Mosque, one of the largest mosques in the world, that can host more than 30,000 worshippers. Completely clad in marble, the mosque has numerous intricate Islamic decorations. Afterwards, enjoy a picture opportunity at Emirates Palace, Abu Dhabi’s famous “7-star hotel”. Take stunning pictures of the Manhattan-esque skyline from the artificial ‘breakwater', then travel past the pristine gardens and beaches of the Corniche to visit Qasr Al Hosn, the former residence of the ruling Al-Nahyan family, built around the island’s only fresh water well. Drive past Etihad Square displaying important items from UAE’s history and culture, then head to Central Souq for a mingle with the locals at this charming souk where everything from gold to souvenirs can be haggled for. Later visit the traditional date market for a look at the staggering varieties of this beloved fruit before continuing to Saadiyat Island, a cultural hub and home to the stunning Louvre Abu Dhabi for photos. Your final stop is Yas Island and the Ferrari World theme park, where it's possible to buy souvenirs.
