Overview

Discover an evening of passion and melody as the Piccadilly Sinfonietta and Britain’s finest voices perform opera’s greatest arias in a candlelit church setting. From Mozart’s playful charm to Puccini and Verdi’s soaring drama, this gala brings timeless music to life.Set within the candlelit grandeur of St Clement Danes Church in the heart of London, the Piccadilly Sinfonietta teams with Britain’s leading operatic voices for an evening of profound musical storytelling. From the graceful wit of Mozart to the heart-stirring passion of Puccini and the monumental drama of Verdi, each aria is selected to illuminate the emotional spectrum of opera’s greatest composers. The ensemble’s strings glow with warmth, while woodwinds and brass weave undercurrents of color as soloists command the stone arches with richly nuanced performances. Since its founding in 2017, the Sinfonietta has enthralled audiences across the UK with over 200 concerts a year, distinguished by virtuosic soloists and dynamic musicality.
