Founded in 1989, The Per Poc Puppet Company is dedicated to the development of puppet theater. The main members of the company are Santi Arnal and Ana Fernández, who have collaborated for over 25 years to create numerous distinguished and exquisite original stage works on the international stage. Conductor: Fang Zhongling
Fang Zhongling is a young Chinese conductor based in Shenzhen, China and currently serves as the Assistant Conductor of the Shenzhen Symphony Orchestra, working under Music Director and Principal Conductor Daye Lin.
Fang was a prize-winner of the 2nd "Wiener Schule" International Conducting Competition in 2023. Later that year, he was selected as a finalist of the prestigious Besançon International Competition for Young Conductors.
Fang has worked and performed with several professional orchestras, such as Prague Philharmonic Orchestra, Berlin Sinfonietta, Orchestre Victor Hugo, Bucharest Symphony Orchestra, Moravian Philharmonic Orchestra, United Europe Orchester, Joseph Haydn Symphony Orchestra Vienna, Pleven Philharmonic Orchestra, Bohuslav Martinu Philharmonic Orchestra and China Youth Philharmonic Orchestra.
In 2020, Fang graduated from the China Conservatory of Music with a Degree in orchestral conducting under the tutelage of Prof. Ye Jin, with additional studies in opera conducting under Prof. Xincao Li. He also studied at the Royal Birmingham Conservatoire under the guidance of Daniele Rosina. In 2021, he decided to further his studies in Germany, where he learnt under Prof. Christian Ehwald and Prof. Georg Christoph Sandman in Berlin and Dresden respectively. In 2024, Fang completed his Master’s Degree in orchestral conducting at the Shenzhen Conservatory of Music under the tutelage of Prof. Daye Lin.
Over the years, Fang has actively participated in masterclasses around the world, receiving guidance from eminent conductors such as Alexander Polishchuk, Martin Sieghart, Charles Olivieri-Munroe, Guido Rumstadt and Peter Stark, amongst others.
