After graduating in cello with the highest marks and honors from the Conservatory of Udine, he then specialized with the cellists FM Ormezowsky, S. Boiler, M. Meir and M. Floksman for the solo repertoire and with F. Hemerson and A. Specchi for chamber music. Winner of the national competition "Vittorio Veneto" he founded the "String Quartet of Trieste" (Furini, Comissa, Vigola, Monticoli) together with the first parts of the Teatro Giuseppe Verdi of Trieste.
He played in the most prestigious concert halls in the world: "Operà and Salle Pleyel" in Paris, "Suntory Hall" in Tokyo, "La Scala" in Milan, "Musikferein" in Vienna, "Mozarteum" in Salzburg, "Palazzo del Quirinale ”Of Rome,“ Sala Tchaikowsky ”of Moscow etc. As first cello he collaborates with "Orchestra Filarmonica Marchigiana" directed by Gustav Kuhn, "Orchestra of the Teatro Regio di Parma", "Orchestra Filarmonica", "Chamber Orchestra" of the Teatro G. Verdi of Trieste, "Parma Opera Ensemble", "Orchestra Filarmonica di Udine ". He has recorded for Erato, RS, Rivolato, Agorà, Velut Luna. He plays with a Ferdinando Galimberti cello from 1923 and an A.Lamy bow that belonged to the cellist Amedeo Baldovino.
