Marko Nikodijević is a Serbian composer.

Marko Nikodijević studied composition at the University of the arts Belgrade from 1995 onwards, as well as mathematics and physics. His teacher was initially Srdjan Hofman, from 2002 to 2003 Zoran Erić. In 2003 he moved to Germany, where he joined Marco Stroppa at the Staatliche Hochschule für Musik und darstellende Kunst Stuttgart (State University of music and Performing Arts) (until 2005). From 2008 to 2009, private music theory studies followed with Bernd Asmus.

In 2014, during the Munich Biennale, his chamber opera Vivier - a night protocol came to the world premiere, which revolves around the life and death of the composer Claude Vivier.

For his compositions Marko Nikodijević has received several awards, including the 2008 liszt the composer prize of the Brandenburger Biennale, in 2010 the First prize of the International Gaudeamus music week in Amsterdam in 2010 for cvetić, kućica... – la lugubre gondola [funeral music after franz] and in 2013, the promotional prize of the Ernst von Siemens music Foundation, Munich.
