The evening begins with Couperin’s Prélude non mesuré, freshly reimagined by composer Gabe Kahane, and moves effortlessly through Caroline Shaw’s vibrant textures, John Adams’s propulsive energy and Paul Wiancko’s lyrical intensity. Interspersed with spirited arrangements of Radiohead’s 'Pyramid Song' and compositions from Jonny Greenwood’s Junun project, the programme illuminates how pulse, gesture and motion have shaped musical expression across centuries and cultures.
