Enjoy a walking tour of Palermo's market and get the chance to discover more about Sicily's street food tradition!Start your experience exploring the suggestive and lively open-air market, a place with strong Arab influences, full of picturesque stands with fresh fish, cheeses, fruits and vegetables. During the tour, you will have the opportunity to observe local people in their daily activities and to savor typical local food. Throughout your walking tour, you will also get the chance to admire Palermo's historic city center and its main monuments, including Piazza Pretoria and the Cathedral. Then, reach Monreale by taxi and visit its Dome, a wonderful example of Arab-Norman art and architecture. The church was commissioned in 1174 by William II and it represents scenes from the Old and New Testaments through beautifully crafted golden mosaics.
