Alongside her transformative 'Seven Reorganisations', immerse yourself in Helmut Lachenmann’s percussive piano deconstruction 'Guero' and Pascale Criton’s mesmeric microtonal duo 'Trans'.Explore Ensemble invites you on a journey through unstable, reorienting soundscapes with the world premiere of Beatrice Dillon’s 'Where Never'. Marking a bold departure from her system-based electronic roots, this new work melds ensemble and electronics into fluid textures that shift in real time. The evening opens with Dillon’s 'Seven Reorganisations', a suite of interlocking fragments that dissolve boundaries between rhythm and resonance. Next, Helmut Lachenmann’s 'Guero' transforms the black grand piano into a percussive playground of scraped, rubbed and struck materials, while Pascale Criton’s guitar duo 'Trans' drifts through microtonal haze, weaving delicate patterns of interference.
