Giampietro Rosato (Padua, 1970) is an Italian organist, harpsichord and pianofort player
Rosato completed his early musical studies at the Cesare Pollini Conservatory in Padua, where he learned piano short with Romano Dall'Alba Zancan and organ and organ composition with Renzo Buja.
To perfect himself in the performance of early music, both on organ and on harpsichord and pianoforte, he took lessons with Michael Radulescu, Andreas Staier, Gustav Leonhardt, Luigi Ferdinando Tagliavini, Jean-Claude Zehnder and Eckart Sellheim.
In 1993 he obtained a harpsichord diploma and in 1996 he further specialized in the 'historical organ' with Andrea Marcon and harpsichord with Helga Kirwald, at the Tudingen Music University.
He taught harpsichord, basso continuo and chamber music at the Trossingen Music University and organ and organ composition at the Udine Conservatory.
He has given concerts at numerous festivals and in many concert halls. To mention are: the international harpsichord festival in Milan, the Historischer Sommersaal in the Bach Museum in Leipzig, the Händel-Haus in Halle, the Teatro Nuovo in Verona, the Settembre Barocco festival in Padua, the Antegnati Festival in Brescia, the International organ festival in Treviso , the Teatro Bibiena in Mantova.
From 1997 he regularly collaborated with the baroque ensemble I Sonatori de la Gioiosa Marca.
