The Barclays Arena has been an integral part of the cityscape of the Hanseatic city of Hamburg since it opened in November 2002. More than 1,600 concerts by the world's most famous bands and musicians, shows for all age groups and a wide variety of sporting events took place in the largest multifunctional arena in northern Germany, which can accommodate up to 15,000 people. Since fall 2007, the Barclays Arena has been part of the Anschutz Entertainment Group, a subsidiary of the Anschutz Corporation. In July 2015, Barclays was finally won as the namesake. Every year, more than a million visitors flock to the arena for more than 130 events.

Join the Corteo parade! A festive celebration of the life of a clown.
The clown Mauro envisions that his own burial will take place amid a carnival atmosphere and be attended by tender angels. The show contrasts the grand with the intimate, the silly with the tragic, and the beauty of perfection with the appeal of imperfection. It also emphasizes the strength and vulnerability of the clown as well as his knowledge and generosity to represent the aspect of humanity that exists in each of us. Corteo is guided through a timeless ceremony in which fantasy teases reality with music, which is both poetic and mischievous.
Corteo, which means cortege in Italian, is a joyous procession, a festive parade imagined by a clown. The show brings together the passion of the actor with the grace and power of the acrobat to plunge the audience into a theatrical world of fun, comedy and spontaneity situated in a mysterious space between heaven and earth.
