Jewish Vienna – Then to Now” shows the difficult path of Jewish Vienna from 1945 to the present day.Extend your tour to 4 hours and get a bigger portion of knowledge: See the Holocaust Memorial at Judenplatz and the Memorial against war and fascism on Albertinaplatz with your guide. Both are dedicated to victims of the largest crimes in the history of Vienna. Your knowledgeable guide will tell you fascinating facts and lead you to see Stadttempel Synagogue. Stroll down toward Leopoldstadt on the other side of the Danube. In former days, it was so populated with Jews, it was called Matzoh Island. Here and there along its streets, you will come across plaques marking former Jewish community establishments and Or Chadash Synagogue.
