Overview
Do you want to learn about one of Europe's most important monasteries on the pilgrims' route to Santiago de Compostela? Do you want to visit the beautiful town of Rapperswil with its medieval city walls and stunning views over the lake of Zurich? Do you want to relax on a boat trip on the lake, enjoying the views over the golden and silver coast, while tasting a nice glass of wine? Then this is the right tour for you.You will leave Zurich in the morning by private vehicle and make your first stop in the village of Einsiedeln, where you will visit the famous Monastery. You will discover over 1000 years of history of this remarkable place, and visit the Black Virgin. You will also have time to drink water from each of the tubes of the fountain, which promises you health and strength for your whole life.You will then continue by private vehicle to the other side of the Lake of Zurich, where you will make a short walk in the Medieval old part of town. Here you can enjoy the views over the Lake, from the top of the city walls. If you desire, you may have lunch here.In the afternoon you will take a ship back to Zurich, on which you will enjoy the 2 hours journey on the lake and admire the area from a different perspective.Back in Zurich the tour finishes with a walk through the old part of town.
