Phi Phi Island is one of the best known island locations in the Phuket region, famous from the Leonardo DiCaprio movie “The Beach”. Some people mistakenly believe that Phi Phi Island is just one Island, when in fact Phi Phi Island is a group of 6 Islands. 5 Of The Islands are Virgin Islands, they do not have developments or buildings on them other than National Park buildings. The one island in the Phi Phi Island group which does have developments, hotels, restaurants and bars is Phi Phi Don. This island also has some great snorkeling locations and authentic Thai Restaurants.
