Sit back on a boat ride and marvel at the 13 gorges of Katherine Gorge and have fun admiring some local artwork. There are two different flight routes depending on when you come along for the tour. If you visit in the Dry season (April-September), you'll fly over Mary River, Kakadu, and Katherine National Parks. Highlights include iconic river systems such as the Adelaide, South and East Alligator, Mikinj Valley, Arnhem Land Plateau and Lightning dreaming. In the Wet season (October-March), you'll get the see the Arnhem land escarpment and plateau before viewing the impressive and prominent waterfalls, Jim Jim and Twin. The flight ends by soaring over the Nitmiluk (Katherine) Gorge. The next part of the tour will take you on a boat adventure. Consisting of 13 separate gorges, Nitmiluk Gorge winds along 12 km of sheer rock extending more than 70 m high. You'll get to sit back and relax as you admire these impressive sights. There is an optional 10-minute helicopter flight over 3 gorges that you can choose to do (to be paid on site) if you want to see more! You'll then enjoy a visit to either the Godinymayin Yijard Rivers Arts and Culture Centre or Mimi Aboriginal Art and Craft Centre (depending on the day of booking).
