Overview
No one ever said that art should be hung only on walls. Discover how fine jewelry is handcrafted at the Yvel Design Center, home to Israel's prestigious award-winning jewelry company.Yvel is a designer jewelry brand recognized worldwide for its distinctive creations featuring nature's most treasured resources. Founded by Orna and Isaac Levy in 1986, Yvel (a reversal of the "Levy" surname) has a rich history of cultivating fine jewelry for over 30 years.Rare organic pearls are Yvel's signature design motif with selected natural diamonds, emeralds, sapphires and other gems featuring prominently. Yvel is legendary for its free-form designs in which 18k white, yellow or rose satin-finished gold is fashioned around the gemstone, caressing it and enhancing its unique beauty. In 2010, Isaac and Orna inaugurated Yvel's new sparkling state-of-the-art Design Center located in the hills on the outskirts of Jerusalem, in the village of Motza. The 50,000 square foot facility is surrounded by lush flower gardens, sweet-smelling fruit trees and cascading waterfalls.Upon arrival, visitors can explore many natural design elements found in the YDC gardens that serve as inspiration for Yvel jewelry designs. Fruit trees, lush gardens and rock formations are abundant and a welcome sight. A soothing water wall and water walkway will transport you into the depths of the ocean where Yvel's extraordinary pearls originate.
